Bien évidemment pour parler rugby du sud, il faut aimer ce sport et aimer écrire! Après un an à Sydney où j’ai chaussé les crampons pour le Mosman Rugby Club aux côtés d’australiens, d’européens, de kiwis, de sud afs, d’islanders et même de zimbabwéens ou de japonais, le retour en France a été difficile avec une presse spécialisée qui préfère parler de la signature du pilier de La Voulte à Lourdes plutôt que du Super Rugby ou des autres compétitions passionnantes de l’hémisphère sud ! Alors pour éviter que Christian Jeanpierre ou Mathieu Lartot vous présentent comme “nouvelle star de l’hémisphère sud” le joueur qui cartonne en bas depuis 3 saisons, j’ai décidé de créer Sud Rugby en 2009 dans le but de proposer une information pertinente, crédible et régulière.
